Greens Progress Update

The CGC, LLC crew arrived on Aug. 18 to begin the new greens project. As of Sept. 2, they have prepared #2, 5, 6, 7 greens for drainage installation. After the drains are installed then the gravel and sand can be added before the zoysia collars are added just prior to seeding.

#1 has been excavated and is awaiting shaping to get to the drainage installation stage. #9 is the last green to be worked on as we are draining the pool so the leak problem north of #9 can be fixed while we rebuild the green. All in all the project seems to be going good. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the rain we are getting stops so we can proceed and stay on schedule of having the greens complete and seeded by Oct. 1st.

Funding update: We have current contributions totaling $152,000. Our goal to fully fund this project was $155,000. We are very close and thanks to the many members and businesses who have stepped up. Remember all who have participated in funding will be equally recognized with a permanent plaque dedicating this once in a lifetime renovation project.
