About Us

Since the "Chanute Country Club" membership dedicated itself to aggressively attract new members and expand the value of the facility for all members and for Chanute itself, these are some of the positive things that have changed for us all.

1. The name has been changed to Quarry Stone.
2. We have gained a number of new members including corporate memberships of several area businesses.
3. We have several activities for members, such as Women's Golf Association (WGA), Men's Golf Association (MGA), Couples Golf, Swim Team, and Junior Golf.
4. The MGA has expanded its calendar of events and broadened its monthly stag night meeting programs.
5. New golf score cards are in the planning stages.
6. The bar has been refurbished and looks great!  We have two big, flat screen TVs, great for watching the game or a great golf match with friends. 
7. We are working on updating our pool area and working on repairs.
8. We are rebuilding several of our greens and they will be ready for play sometime next Spring. 
9. We once again have an active activities committee.
10. We have had several new activities going on -- Saturday night sponsor drawings, bunco, greed, Super Bowl party, kid's night, music in the bar, etc.
11. Mo is giving a 10% discount on meals to all members.
12. We have an online calendar for members to check.
13. We have most members' email addresses and are sending out emails regularly.
14. The gas well is working, lowering our utility costs
15. Ambassadors are going into the community and talking with potential new members.
16. And there's lots more to come.
17. Quarry Stone is becoming THE place to be!
